*Chatting Experience *
When our teacher told us we supposed to be used English to chat with our classmates for thirty minutes. Our first reactions were no way! Using a limit time to think aloud English and chat for thirty minutes. How could it be possible? It is because most of our classmates are good at Chinese. After a while, we had done our chatting. During the chat process we use our poor English to communicate with friends. We chat gossip, friendship etc. However in our mind we wish we could use Chinese, but we couldn’t. You can enter many different types’ chat rooms. If you couldn’t find a chat room you like, you can create another one. In the chat room you can share your feelings, talk about your family, the weather, sport, entertainments. Perhaps you can chat with the foreigner if you are a brave person. It could expend your views. Therefore, I think they are funny. However, some of our parents were worry about their children by chatting in the virtual world. The problem is not just a group of people talking gossip! They scared that some people will use these channel to become an illegal way. Then they will prohibit their children to use it. I think this is not a good way to do this. It is because these may depends on the children’s personality. Therefore, don’t waste your time to shout them. Parents may tell their children never to give out personal information such as telephone number, address, and your name. Never consent to meet anyone from the chat room. It’s very dangerous. Don’t waste your life to do the useful things. You need to do the thing that is good for you. No matter it was good or bad. Using English to chat with friends is a good way for us to practice our conversation and English typing skill. It’s also another way to make friends. Why not to try it?

T Blogging Experience
The name of my blog is虎斑☆恐龍王. It’s a mysterious fish which exists in several billion years ago. I’m so exciting, because it’s my first time to create a blog. In my blog its includes many things such as multimedia (music video, movie trailer, audio and video), music box, hot potato- JCloze, the hype links of online dictionary and EFL website, news, my essay record and some special code. Then the funny video is my favorite part. The characters are my favorite singer and their team made pranks on them. Next, I’d like to introduce the music video. They are “Green Day” the American punk rocky group. I choose this song because it has a special meaning for me. In 2005 I joined the CYC (China Youth Corps.) camp. The nickname fro this camp we called “Love Boat”. Our group chooses this son for their talent show and they got the first prize. They are the best team in my mind!
At first, I have no idea with this blog. I’m hearing about that before but really don’t know what it is. After, I took this course. I knew it! I know lots of computer terminology like components, coding system, recipient, JPEG, hyperlink, network, http and navigation bar…, etc. I suddenly realized that blog was really useful and a popular cyberspace for everybody. Computer is terrible important for everybody. Imaging that one day there is no computer in the world. What would happen??
Creating a blog people could upload anything that you want such as multimedia, pictures, news, games, diaries and special animations or effects …., act. However before you post those files, you have to learn what html code is. That’s really difficult for the beginner and the people who are bad at computer skills. They will think oh my god. What is html code and how do I add to my blog. How could I change my background and font? Many questions will come out from their brain. For those questions you may find out on the internet or you may ask your friends who are good at computer skills. There’s another way to make your blog look more colorful and interesting. You can browse your classmates and other people’s blog. Seeing what’s the different between you and their blog. What kinds of information do they post on their blog? What special animations did they put? If possible maybe you can switch opinions by building a blog and computer skills.
After, I did these 2 activities (creating a blog and chatting with friends). I think it was really amazing. I would never think that I could have my own blog. It’s really helping me to learn English and computer skills well. It is because when you got problems with creating blog you will need to send E-mail to the creator~ Of course- English. When you chat with other people and some words that you don’t know maybe you will use dictionary or online dictionary. For these processes, you will learn lots of new vocabularies. There is a proverb says that practice makes perfect.
What features attracted me? I think it would be “multimedia” because I can put funny videos and music sharing with my friends. Also, I can make a photo album to record my life. It’s a good way for friends know more about you.
All in all, this is a grateful course. It’s the best computer course that I have ever learned. Seriously!!~*<>*~ some of our teacher just let us learn the basic things. That’s so boring! I hope next semester we could learn more computer skills and new topics. By the way, Happy New Year~~Emma^0^
